About H3x

Friendship, conviction, and a warm meal.

We're a small group of people who decided not to wait for permission to help.

Our Mission

Direct action, real impact, right now.

H3x was born from friendship in the Web3 community — and from a shared conviction that help shouldn't wait. We connect generous people directly to those in need through hands-on volunteer events, immediate aid, and transparent giving.

No bureaucracy. No politics. Just people helping people.

We believe technology is a tool, not a destination. Whether through blockchain innovation or a warm meal handed to someone who's hungry, the mission stays the same: direct action, real impact, right now.

The board behind the work.

A small team of volunteers steering H3x with the same hands-on spirit we bring to every event.

President & Founder

"My mom always taught me: if you see someone in need and you can help, you do it. That simple belief sparked our very first efforts — pizza drives, donut drives — small acts meant to show the community that we were serious about showing up. With my wife, now our treasurer, we grew that spark into something bigger.

Through the Hedera network and NFTs, we've expanded our reach and funded larger initiatives: feeding communities in Boston, Chicago, Seattle, and Dallas; hosting hydration events across Texas; supporting marginalized communities in India; aiding wildfire relief in California; and helping families outside hospitals in Mexico.

And we're not stopping there. Our vision is to build communities across the nation where kindness, connection, and collective action can tackle hunger — and so much more. It's never been just about meals. It's about doing what's right.

That's why I built this team. Real communities helping real people."

"I'm a builder, but the work I care most about is the work that doesn't show up on a screen. Before I spent my days writing code and shipping infrastructure, I was a corps member with City Year AmeriCorps, swinging hammers with Habitat for Humanity, and volunteering at animal shelters. Direct service shaped me. It's the lens I bring to everything — including this organization.

What Greg and the team built with Helping Hands is different from a lot of what I've seen in the nonprofit world. It's small enough to move fast, honest enough to spend money where it actually helps, and grounded enough to keep showing up. No bureaucracy, no committees deciding whether to feed people. Just the work, done by people who believe in it.

My role on the board is to support that — to help build the technical and operational scaffolding that lets this organization keep doing what it does best. People helping people, without the layers in between."

"Hi — I'm the Treasurer of Helping Hands of Web3. I've been part of this journey from the very beginning, proudly working alongside my husband, our founder. It's been incredibly rewarding to watch us grow from small community outreach events into a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

Through FAM at PLAY, I'm grateful to support our volunteers by providing shirts that bring unity, pride, and a sense of belonging to those who serve the community.

Giving back is deeply personal to me, and I'm truly thankful to stand beside a team of people who lead with their heart and show up — every time."

"I was born and raised in Chicago, and I've spent my life building things — businesses, friendships, a family. I own Rooster Salsa LLC and a local landscaping company, and what I've learned in both is that the work matters more when it's connected to the people around you.

I was raised with strong values of kindness and generosity. To me, success isn't just personal achievement — it's about uplifting the people around you. That's the mindset that brought me to Helping Hands of Web3. Joining wasn't just an opportunity; it was a chance to align my values with a community that's actually building something good.

Whether in business, local service, or Web3, I lead with authenticity, resilience, and a real commitment to making a difference."
